Active classes

One session a week of vigorous activity is a good addition to daily exercise.  There are dozens of options besides competitive sports.  Try some of these, and if you know of other classes, leave a reply or contact us.

Dance: Dance is a great way to keep fit, for kids and adults. Chloe Bolliger goes to dance classes every Wednesday afternoon in Kyogle.

Karate: “Chloe White and her little sister Ali do Karate with the Bonalbo Karate Club. “Karate teaches you physically and mentally how to defend yourself. It works you up. You’re not just listening to someone. You’re doing it yourself,” says Chloe. Ali says “I just like learning”.

Fitness: Trish Spinks does Boxercise for fitness and strength building. “It’s very exhillerating. It really helps me get through my day”.

Tai Chi Pat Oxtoby teaches Intermediate and Advanced Tai Chi classes at Kyogle Community Health.

Yoga: There are several yoga classes available in Kyogle and villages.  Click the link for details.
