Walking is one of the best forms of daily exercise. It costs nothing, requires no special equipment, and there’s no excuses! Around Kyogle, there are several walking tracks that are particularly worth trying, for example the track through the Botanical Gardens.
A keen group of people in Bonalbo would like to establish a walking track through the Bonalbo Common. If you are interested in this project, contact Terry Moody on (02) 6665 3133.
As Ron says, “On a walk on beautiful, misty early mornings, there’s nothing like the sun lighting up the leaves on the trees and the sound of bird-life starting up another day. Walking is free and it’s available for all ages. Walking is something you can do happily together with your partner – you both enjoy it.”
Walking buddies are a great way to keep up the motivation. If you would like to make contact with someone to walk regularly with, use the Reply box below.
